Examenul va testa cunostintele studentilor cuprinse in cele trei module ale specializarii (Cultura si valori, Istorie si politica, Societate si comunicare), capacitatea studentilor de a trata subiectele de examen din perspectiva interdisciplinara, precum si exprimarea corecta a studentilor in limba engleza.

The American Studies Program is proud to invite you to a double book launch this Friday, April 30, 6pm, at Carturesti Bookstore. The books in question are Nuvele regasite and Povestiri inedite by William Faulkner, the first Romanian translation of the Uncollected Stories of William Faulkner, Ed. Joseph Blotner, Random House, 1979. Three members of the American Studies teaching staff at the University of Bucharest are involved in this event. Associate Professor Anca Peiu, the books' translator, will introduce the volumes together with Professors Radu Surdulescu and Octavian Roske.
We are proud to announce that one of this year's "Bologna Professor/Cool Professor" distinctions was granted to Mihaela Precup, Assistant Professor in the American Studies Program.
